Still Searching……
We have been searching, and noticed that there is a lot of volitility on packages. For example, we were both looking at the same resort with the same flight at the same time on different computers and there was a huge price difference. We finally called Expedia because the numbers kept changing. They explained to us that when more than one person is looking at the same package, the prices go up, because of the higher demand. This is reason enough for us to make up our minds and book realitivly soon if we want lower prices. We will continue to look, and I will update my blog with any new insights I may stumble upon.
I’ve also been researching a Carribean vacation…if you’re into cruises, you should check out Cruise.com. They have great sales, but it’s mostly good for a comparison tool and to see what’s available.
Good luck!
From my experience and hearing from friends, Vacation Outlet (Filenes Basement) and TNT travels offer great all inclusive packages. A friend of mine recently went to Jamaica for $900 per person with his wife. This included airfare, 7 nights @ a hotel, food and liquor! Expenses on a vacations build and I cant think of a better way to budget oneself. Good luck in finding a packaged deal.
